Description

Bottle at home. Murky copper-brown pour with a medium-height beige head with decent retention. Notes of caramel, unripe tropical fruit, citrus hops, cantaloupe and spices. Medium body, thick mouthfeel, low carbonation and a bitter-sweet and quite alcoholic finish.

33cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Hallertau single hop, 6% ABV. No seaweed, but tar syrup, seawater, smoked malts, shards of rhum barrels. I’ll rate it here. Slightly hazy copper golden colour, white head. Aroma of tar, wood found on the sea shore, light floral, hint of saltiness, light leafy. Flavour is light to medium sweet, light fruity, floral, light salty, hint of tar, subtle smoke, wood, firm bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Nice beer, but not much different from the Pelgrim collab.
