Not very "negra" if you ask me - sort of a dark copper-burgundy with minimal head. Aroma is sweetness and burnt hops, hints of red wine. Flavour is strong fusel alcohol with burnt sugary barley on the back end. This one is a miss for the microbrewery.

Pours with modest head and a nice clear copper body. Aroma is armpit with a slightly sweet sugar finish. Flavour is heavy on the hops with a dry and malty finish. Tastes more like an IPA, but above average and drinkable.

Found at a supermarket in La Paz, thankfully allowing me to avoid sampling it at the brew hostel - no idea if they are affiliated, given the fancy packaging on this bottle I doubt it. Has decent white head of modest thickness and a slightly foggy yellow body. Soft aroma of cheese and barnyard. Flavour is a light mix of cheese and citrus. Finish is slightly cloying. Quite nice in fact, very drinkable especially given the 7% abv.

29/09/2011 33cl bottle @Ronny's place, La Paz - bottled 8/11 (2011-466)

Very pale yellow beer, aery white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malts, some dry hops. MF: way too much carbon, light body. Taste: bitter hops, citrus and grapefruit. Aftertaste: hop bitter. Was expecting more from a small craft brewer.
