Pretty clear deep amber beer, solid creamy dense yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: first bit chemical and rubbery, then very sweet, lots of caramel, vanilla, dried fruits, bit sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, caramel, malty, some banana, sugary, bit yeasty, fruity. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bit fruity, hint of citrus. It has held up well for an ipa, but this beer is no longer an IPA any more after 6 months in the bottle. Luckily it has a solid malt base to fall back onto after the aromatic hops have faded out.
