We love that it challenges us artistically and intellectually. We love it because it tests our patience in a world that screams by. We love it because there is success in every failure. We love it because it brings us together in a time where divisiveness is pervasive.
Barclay Brewing is a small brewery which primarily focuses on barrel-aged beers. Although the focus is barrel-aged we do release non barrel-aged beers as well. Keep an eye out for stouts, IPAs, lagers, and other classic styles.
You can find Barclay Brewing Co. operating out of Twelve Percent Beer Project where the incredibly talented staff is helping us to articulate our vision.

Hazy orange colour, medium-sized white head. Quite sweet tropical fruity aroma (mango, apricot). Medium-bodied. Flavour is also sweet, mango, apricot, some citrus but low bitterness. Malty and tad too sweet 6% IPA for my liking.

Thanks to Henrik❤️ Big bourbon hit from the open leading into opulent rich chocolate, dark sweet toffee and caramel like malty action bringing up the rear, full bodied with a silky mouthfeel, lashings more bourbon into the warming malty finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of COHESIVE on 27 Mar 2025 at 06:07 - Score: 8. Original review text: Dark roasted and sweet with layers of maple and caramel, fudge, toffee, some chocolate, full bodied, dark malty vanilla kissed lingering finish. Lovely.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Oily looking dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation, fine for the style. Smooth rich dark malts, a nice luxuriant dark malt cream and dark chocolate. Soft but super rich bourbon barreling. A light salty wet wood underpins wonderfully rich bourbon drenched ripe fruits. Mild spice but really not much all things considered. Smooth slightly viscous finish. Luxurious and super quaffable.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Oily looking dark brown beer, small and short lived tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation for the style. Rich smooth dark malts, good dark malt cream and a little dark chocolate lightened by the well integrated coconut. The trio of cognac barrels provide a smooth ripe fruity cognac. All comes together superbly well into a dangerously drinkable treat.

Undated can drunk 5/26/25.
Moderately hazy with bright bronze and sunset orange tones. Small, white head.
Juicy with some spicy and woody Amarillo and/or Simcoe notes. Soft lemon and fruity yeast with a hint of pine and biscuity, bready malts. Clean.
Lightly juicy, lightly woody with hints of pine and good spice. Biscuity malts with light white bread and high attenuation. Big, fruity yeast. Very balanced and well-executed stuff. Would love to try more from this brewery.
