About
Formerly known as 'La Face Cachée De La Pomme' and 'Domaine Neige' but those names no longer legally belong to François Pouliot. But this is the same orchard where the original ice cider producer continues his business after losing his trademark names in a legel settlement with his former business partners.

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. Pours deep caramel brown leaving some subtle legs on the glass. Smell is intense with baked apples, ripe pineapple, star fruit, pale caramel, charred wood, white caramel, cinnamon, minerals and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, sour and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is fat, oily, round, tart and near full bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with baked apples, raisins, caramel, dark honey, vanilla fudge, charred wood, calvados, hay and brandy alcohol. Amazing caramel apple with oxidized raisins and amazing supporting tropical fruits. Amazing! --- Beer merged from original tick of Neige Récolte d'Hiver on 27 Nov 2015 at 23:32 - Score: 9

Can: Poured alight bubbly yellow color cider. Aroma of lightly sweet apple juice with light sulfur notes. Taste is also dominate by semi-sweet apple juice notes with light sulfur notes. Not a big fan of Macintosh apples and this cider is not making me change my mind.

Can - Semi sweet dry apple. Pale gold with no head. Nice apple notes, dry with lots of peel and a pleasant finish. So very nice for what it is.

Can at Matt’s
Very pale color. Deep apple aroma, perfumy, fresh, a bit sweaty. Off-dry, the light residual sweetness is necessary; quite nice apple flavor with a lemony final.
Nice.

355mL can, pours a clear blonde-tinted water colour with a few bubbles of white head. Aroma reveals medium sweet apples -- hard to really find any other words for the nose. Flavour is very complex, with medium sweet / dry apples, with a touch of funk and yeast. For a simple cider, it's rather complex. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Really good.

golden burnt orange pour, 375ML bottle from Tom! This one is loaded with a baked apple aroma, pear juice, some cherry. Quite thin body, lingering sweet finish. a little oily. it has a slight vegetable taste, a lot of apple for sure. There’s a light tart kiwi taste and the finish is sweet and oily. really nice but I’d like a bit more juice.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a few bubbles of white head. Aroma brings out notes of toffee, caramel, and medium-high residual brown sugar. Flavour is like a low ABV ice cider, with caramel, brown sugar and toffee. It doesn't have the depth, body or complexity of an ice cider, but it's quite sweet and robust nonetheless. Very nice stuff.
