Description
Formerly known as 'La Face Cachée De La Pomme' and 'Domaine Neige' but those names no longer legally belong to François Pouliot. But this is the same orchard where the original ice cider producer continues his business after losing his trademark names in a legel settlement with his former business partners.

Thnx to 77ships . Pours the same as the reserve version . Smell is even more intense . Intense, more boozy taste . Apples, apples, apples . Very intense, apples . Bit more dry . Very simiar, yet if you taste them together, I slightly prefer the Reserve version .

Clear caramel golden colour. Aroma of apple, caramel, honey and apple skins. Apple flavour, light sour, appelstroop, very sweet. Lingering sweet finish, apple syrup, rich syrupy apple juice, sour notes, dessert wine. Brilliant stuff!!

Gold with some sediment. Nose is huge. A crap load of apple and some strawberry and peach skins and oak. Insanely sweet. Burns the esophagus a bit. Smooth with candy covered apple and cotton candy. Super fruity, peachy and touches of cherry.

Bottle shared at the fantastic Downtown Hotel tasting during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Vintage 2009. Huge thanks to the biggest daddy of them all, MaxxDaddy. Pours clear, rich gold with minimal head. Gorgeous nose, all rich apple sauce. Delicious, immense flavor, rife with ripe apples, intense and concentrated apple sugars. Full bodied, soft, oily. Warming finish with decadent ripe apple character, more apple sauce. Heavenly. Delectable.

Bottle shared by Max at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a hazzy amber orange with a thin white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a rich apple note that is mainly sweet with a bit of dryness and a touch of tartness. Flavor has a great rich apple note that starts sweet but adds a touch of tartness.
