Filosofie

In onze brouwerij gaat het in de eerste plaats om kwaliteit. Het is dan ook de bedoeling om hoogwaardige bieren aan te bieden die gebrouwen zijn in onze eigen brouwerij op basis van eigen recepten.

Dit kan enkel door gebruik te maken van de beste ingrediënten, kleinschalig te werken en vooral door onze jarenlange ervaring te combineren met heel veel enthousiasme.

Onze hop wordt geselecteerd samen met de hoppeboer op onze Belgische velden.

11/XI/15 - 33cl bottle from Jilles (Brugge), €4 @ home - BB: 27/VII/17 (2015-1551)

Clear deep orange to amber beer, creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, malty, some overripe banana, bit spicy, some cloves. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little sourish, malty, grains, bit fruity, citrus, hint of caramel. Aftertaste: spicy, bit sour, bitter, unripe banana peel, bitter touch, somewhat malty, overripe banana, lots of spices, cloves, hoppy bitterness.

Bottlle. Gusher ! Pours unclear blonde, huge white head. Sediment in the glass, even when not pouring the yeast. Gushing shook it loose i guess. Luckely, they sink fast. Smell is grainy ,bit bitter. Taste is sweet, flowers, bit hoppy. Not neearly enough bitterness and obvious brew flaws.

Bottle shared. Pours murky orange brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, yeast, toffee, light floral notes from the hibiscus and a touch of spice. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Almost a gusher. Thin white head. Murky amber pour. A bit thin. Ok.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy dull blond with a medium white head. Aroma of floral and light fruity hops with Belgian yeast. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at la trappiste. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is brown sauce, malty, spiced, taste is dry, toffee, sweet.
