16oz can from Tavour. Hazy orange pour capped with a thin silky white head. Citrusy aroma at first, then turns boozy, pineapple. Taste is citrusy and dank, light tropical notes, zesty. Creamy, thick. Lingering tanginess.

Can from Big Daddy's: pours orangish haze with white head. aroma is mango and orange juice. Taste is on the sweeter side, but has a bit of a bitter finish at the end. Pretty smooth with a pleasant mouthfeel.

Appearance: jet black color in the glass, super thin off-white foamy head
Aroma: mostly coffee beans, subtle vanilla sweetness, some cacao sweetness
Flavor: semi-sweet, great roastiness, smooth sweet cacao, some cofee-ish/vanilla aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, ample smoothness, great smooth roasty coffee/vanilla finish
Overall: I'd say a nicely done imperial stout well worthy of returning to.

On tap at Walhalla brewpub, Amsterdam, Saturday 10th January 2026, after a treacherous walk from the Buiksloterweg boat mooring and then Lowlander and then Oedipus. Pours orange/gold with a mid sized sticky white head. Thick mouthfeel, warming, a little bit tropical, juicy a touch sweet but it's v.nice. Score 7.6

Sharp riwaka grapefruit and some unripe nectarine. A little soft lemon. Pours murky orange yellow with decent head and lacing. Light hop tang finish that doesn't cloy. Pleasant. Tap at Oakland Park taproom.

Banana and peanut butter. Lots of raspberry. Pours super smoothie thick. Tart and sweet finish. Don't love the blend here, the flavours, in general but the final product comes through ok. More sour than I'd have thought. Tap at Oakland Park location.
