Poured from a bottle. Aroma is rich and malty with lots of dark caramel and toffee as well as some lighter burnt sugar, roast and light smoke notes. Moderate dark fruit notes of raisins, figs, prunes and cherries. Some light whiskey and oak notes as well. Pours a dark brown with a small, thin, forced tan head that quickly recedes to the edges and disappears. No lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a light to medium light tartness to it. Quite a bot of caramel and toffee notes with some lighter roast and faint smoke. Some burnt sugar and toasted bread as well. Moderate bitterness. Quite a bit of dark fruit with raisin, cherry, berry, fig and prunes. Some light whiskey and oak notes. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with pretty much no carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a weird beer. Sweet, smokey and sour with a lot of fruitiness to it as well. The fact that it is still doesn’t help, but as it warms to room temperature it shows itself to be a very interesting and unique beer as well.

50cl bottle, blend #2, pours a murky, deep brown with some spitty, white head. Nose has raspberry and honey comb, red wine, mild ginger. Flavor comes together, sweet, tart, jammy, earthy, herbal, medicinal. Tart finish. Cool.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small frothy white head. The aroma is funk, herb, earthy. Medium mouth with tart lemon, brett, funk, oak, very good.

Bottle shared during RBWG. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. Tart citrus aroma, light honey. Medium sweet flavor with some pale bread, lemony tartness, clover, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tart finish, light alcohol, light metal, more honey, lemon. Novel. Not bad.

Sweet bottle thanks to will. Pours a hazy gold topped with a small white head. nose is very odd lots of floral some sweetness and a spice. Taste is more of the sweetness a tart sour. Very fun to try.

Bottle shared at rbwg 2016. Clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is sharp solvent hot alcohol, vinegar, tart granny smith apple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet and sour , red berry, hint of vinegar. Sour. Woody. Palate is semi sweet, tangy. Light acid. Nice red fruit and brown bread.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of lemon, light chocolate, raw sugar, grain and red apple. Taste is very light sweet and light sour with notes of lemons, red apples and grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head. The aroma is roast, dark fruit, citrus. Medium mouth, roast, orange zest, light finish, good.

Bottle at rbwg pours out a muddy golden topped with a bubbly white head. nose is sour tart barrel notes and some light fruit. Taste is more of the sour tart funk and light fruit.
