Can 330ml.Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry, vintage malt, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, old berry, vintage, wood, glue. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20101015]

Can 33 cl. Courtesy of my cousin Martin. Pours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Strange aroma of industrial glue -WFF?? Medium body, some oxidized roastiness, burned caramel and pumpernickel. A little late licorice in the finish, but hardly any hops. Definitely better drinking than smelling. 151010

Red & White Can with a Golden band in the centre of the front. Thin golden coloured body with a thinnish white head and millions of bubbles rising from the bottom - showing nice fermentation! Light-bodied; Fresh fruit flavours with guava and bananas the strongest, along with a good taste of sweetness and light malt. Aftertaste is relatively mild, only with sweet fruits, no bitterness at all, and definitely no alcohol. Overall, a pretty good lager, actually - better than most that I’ve had in Vietnam! Great flavours throughout and no bad tastes. Definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 330 mL can purchased from FiviMart in Hanoi for 9,7000 VND (~US$0.50), Vietnam yesterday, sampled today in Hanoi on 19-August-2010.

Canned@omhper. Deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity, quite much ricelike sweetness, mild grains and cardboard. Flavour is being rather similar. No big surprises here...

Canned. Clear pale golden, no head. Light buttery vegetable aroma. Sweetish and slim with some glue, oily mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Fell behind Biere Larue on a head to head comparison. I had higher hopes on this one.

Canned. Clear nut brown, rich head. Roasty bready nose. Medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Bready/toasty and lightly fruity. Fairly low bitterness. Decent dunkel!

Light golden-brown. Thin head. Aroma is mostly toasty. The body is a bit thin. The flavour is mainly toast. Not all that interesting, but good to see a macrobrewed Den.

Golden colour with a thin head and nice sparkle. Slightly grassy hop with lots of sweet malt on the nose. Slight fruity character, quite malty as well. A fresh and drinkable brew, very good for the type. Too bad its not more widely available.
