Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Thanks. Clear yellow without head. Aroma is sweet, malty and corn. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. Standard pale lager. I don’t understand the high ratings this is getting. 090220

2/1/2020. Can from The Savanna, Liverpool St Station. Pours clear bright gold with a small short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of grain, sweet corn, fruit, grass and a metallic edge. Touch over medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, slight prickly carbonation. Not so bad.

Tap @Beer House on Long St, Cape Town. Cloudy reddish amber, offwhite froth. Aroma of cherry candy. Similar flavour, sweet and kind of fat, still too candy like.

Tap @Beer House on Long St, Cape Town. 4.6%. Clear amber, offwhite head. Malty, light hoppy aroma. Malty flavor, hoppy bitterness. Finishes kind of herbal. Quite solid for a pale lager.

Can by the Orlando Towers in Soweto. I'm guessing the colour is clear golden, small white head visible inside the can. Sweet malty aroma, very light floral hops. Sweet, malty flavour, low hop-like bitterness. Finishes dry, ok refreshing.

750 ml bottle imported by my parents and shared with HO and QL. Clear golden. White head is quickly diminished to nothing. No lacing. Sweet aroma of wet grains, wet cardboard, grass. Taste of grass, pilsner malt, yellow apples and fruit esthers. Medium low bitterness.
