Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Sweet roast, soy and tons of umami in the nose. Rich body, almost flat, sweet raisiny, roast, tar and smoke but all on a rather sweet background. A little earthy with salty licorice. But solid throughout - kinda British in feel. 130219

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, nutty brown with a dense, off-white head. Friendly phenols in the nose, very pleasant Belgian feel with oxidized dried fruits and cocolate pudding. Rich, warming body, spicy and complex, oxidized Port wine and all sorts of good things. A Dubbel that really hits the spot! 130219

Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Enticing, spicy hop aroma, but not overwhelmingly powerful. Very fruity, fresh aroma, very dominated by the solid hop dosage. Leaves a solid hop imprint on your pallet. 130219

Sample from 50 cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden amber colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, yeasts, fruits and hints of booze. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Sweet finish with fruits and yeasts. Fair.
