Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque nutty brown with a small, roughish beige head. Surprisingly littke aroma, no trace of the hops so it's more nuts and caramel, but even that is subtle. Rich, sweet, malty body, caramel and toffee, some roastiness and then quite some bittering hops at the end. We're talking borderline Imperial Brown here. 141220

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy amber to red, small tan head. Aroma is fruity, roasted malt. Dry, cherry, sour and lingering citric. Mellow, fruity and cherry fruity finish.

ABV: 11.8%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, molasses, chocolate, rye, oat, umami, wood, soy sauce, dark fruit, alcohol - boozy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, molasses, alcohol, dark fruit - soy sauce, prunes, rye, oat, rich, umami. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200910]
