Bottle @ Late Night Fonefan/Brugmansia Tasting, January 2013. Pours hazy amber with a off white head. Bread, caramel, sweet dark fruit and yeast. Chewing gum. Quite sweet.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet caramellish aroma with some overripe fruit. Medium body, sweet brown sugar, estery and lightly phenollic but all the time pleasant and not overly Belgian. 04013

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and light phenolic. Phenolic, caramelish and toasted malty. Sweet, toasted malty and dry phenolic.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks funny, beername’s funny too. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts strong, malty, quite alcoholic from the beginning. Finish with some moldy notes, also a bit sourish, still alcoholic. There are better bocks.

Bottle at De Drie Dorstige Herten. Not a witbier but a Belgian tripel. Hazy light orange colour, medium white head. Nose is yeasty, fruity, malty backbone, and slightly sweet. Flavour is yeasty, citrus, fruity, orange, fairly bitter and slightly alcoholic.

No head to speak of, veiled golden beer. ( Badly poured!). Dry, spicy & yeasty nose, dry rootspices. Very spicy flavour, again rootspices (galanga,...); seems well-attenuated, if a tad lifeless. Not very carbonated, despite the apparent attenuation. Medium bodied. Better than the sum of its parts. I miss some life, here;

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brown, small head. Malty-dry aroma. Starts strong, malty-dry. A bit rusty. Fruity hints of berries. Finish well balanced, softer malty, still mild-dry. Quite drinkable for its strength. Great beer!

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty and spicy. Notes of sweet fruits, peaches. Modest sourish. Well balanced finish, still fine fruity, hints of caramel. Quite drinkable. Good beer.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fruity aroma. Starts not too intense, mild-hoppy with interesting fruity notes. Malty background with grasy hints. Finish less hoppy, but still nice fruity. Good beer!
