Bottle. Pale amber color. Hazy. Lemon, yeast and red berries in the sharpish aroma. Firm hopbitter flavor. Almost oily. Grapefruit, red berries and peppermint. White pepper. Lovely!

Bottle. dark brown color. Malt, ontbijtkoek, raisin and only faint hints of smoke in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with ontbijtkoek, rye bread, hints of caramel and the faintest hint of smoke. Alcoholic. I would have expected more smoke.

Bottle. Amber color. Malty peppery caramelly aroma. Malt, caramel, licorice and white pepper in the slightly alcoholic flavor. Pleasant beer, not too sweet.

On tap @ Bierfestival Groningen. Black with a beige head. Roasted malts aromas. Sweet taste. Nice stout.

Wheat ale by this very small microbrewery installed in the brewer's gazebo in Coevorden, glad I got a chance to taste something from this brewery; thanks Craftmember for sharing at Gents Bierfestival. Medium thick, snow white, moussy, lacing head over a hazy straw blonde beer with light peachy tinge. Aroma of banana and bubblegum, ripe red apple, apple cake even, white bread dough. Sweetish onset, apple and a lot of banana isoamylacetate, peach, soft carb, slick cereally and 'cleanly' white bready body with a floral hop bitterish touch in the end; remains, however, primarily malt and banana ester sweet. "Wheat ale" only in the most general, non-descriptive sense of the word, as "an ale made with a substantial amount of wheat", but style-wise clearly intended as a Dutch-interpreted Hefeweizen and not the hoppy American wheat ale style, let the record be clear.
