On tap at the brewpub. It pours a hazy brown body under a small beige head leaving some curtains. A but weak aroma, with perfumed citrusy hops in the back and roasted malts and caramel and bread. Nutty hints too. Quite weak flavor too, but nice, with bread, nuts, caramel and a soft bitterness. Medium body fullness, soft carbonation and quite dry on the palate. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one but a tad boring. 151204

On tap at the brewpub (ABV. 8,6%). Slightly hazy deep amber to copper coloured with a modest, but lasting tanned head. Fairly fruity and somewhat floral aroma with solid malty notes, caramel and hints of pine, citrus and cat pee. Sweet, heavy and hoppy with certain balance - quite flavourful and sweet, but quite tasty and easy to drink too. A slow sipper, but rather nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hålligång on 12 Sep 2015 at 15:03 - Score: 7

On tap at the brewpub (ABV. 7,1%). Hazy orange to amber with a somewhat creamy, off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel and rather modest hoppy and fruity notes. Sweet and caramelly with mild piney and citrusy notes, fairly balanced flavours, but would like a more fresh and hoppy profile as the sweetness and caramel is a bit to much for me. Decent brew anyway, fairly tasty and easy to drink. Finishes medium bitter and aftertaste is on the short side. Fair enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hoppy Sa Gåsa on 12 Sep 2015 at 14:45 - Score: 7

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a black one, topped by a lasting, dense, creamy light tan to dark beige head leaving lovely lacings. The aroma is complex and delightful, with licorice, molassed, some coffee roast and a touch of bonfire. It has a nice bitterness in the mouth, some piney and citrusy hints, even some alcohol, as well as malty sweetness and what’s known from the aroma. Full-bodied, lightly warming and creamy on the palate. Lasting finish with both roasted and hoppy bitterness and a faint salty touch. Really lovely this one. Easy drinkable too. 140525

On tap at the brewpub. A close to black beer, topped by a small, dense, light beige head. Some curtains. Some licorice notes in the aroma, but mostly it’s roasted malts and coffee grit. It’s rather dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Full body. Roasted malts, coffee and some bonfire in the flavor, and a nice hoppy bitterness. Lasting finish. Too dry perhaps, but sure nice. 150531

On tap at the brewpub. A big, off-white head sits on top of a hazy, golden body. Curtains. It’s lightly boozy on the nose, mostly fruity though, with some grass and fruits. It’s full bodied and warming on the palate, quite dry and with a nice fruityness, peaches and orange zest. Some pepper notes. Lasting fruity finish. A tad warming this one but it’s nice anyway. 150531

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy, dark golden to amber beer with a small dense off-white head. The aroma has pine cones and resins dominating, with a nice citrus zest touch and maltyness. The flavour is quite bitter, with resins and pine cones. Bready, almost toffee-ish malts. Full body, soft carbonation. Lasting finish. Pleasant, but a bit too malty I think. 150515
