Description
Orono Brewing Company opened with a bang on NYE 2014 and ever since then we’ve been doing exactly what we want to do: brewing the best beer we possibly can and sharing it with friends. We love beer and we love bringing people together. We believe in paying attention to every detail, to collaboration and evolution, and to sharing the OBC experience with our growing community. It all starts with our small, tight-knit production team led by co-owner Asa Marsh-Sachs. Asa combines the experiential education and creativity of nearly a decade spent running home-brew stores with a deep dedication to running a top tier production brewery. He’s built an all-start team and together they weave the art and science of brewing together masterfully.

Canned 10-25-19. Fresh!! Aroma has bold citrus, tropical notes, with a herbal touch. Some sweet fruity flavor right upfront with pineapples leading to a soft herbal bitterness. Real nice balance. Not a complete juice bomb. Very well made.

16 oz. can date: stamped “ High and Tight” 5-28-19. Aroma is mostly lime and salt. Flavor has huge limes, lime peel, and a solid salinity after the sip. Blueberry is hard to find. About average for me overall.

16 oz. can. Typical orange juice appearance.Hint of mango with a very tart passion fruit finish. No hops come through the juice. Medium mouthfeel. This honestly should be labeled a fruit beer with so much purée. If I had sampled this blind I would have said it was a fruited berliner weisse.

16 oz. can. Aroma is pine, citrus, mild florals. Has a mild juicy character that is balanced by some herbal / pine bitterness. Nicely put together DIPA that keeps the malt and alcohol at bay.

16 ounce can with a date of 12-5-18. Pale yellow haze appearance. Aroma shows mild floral and a touch of citrus. Flavor is a nice surprise. Citrus and floral right upfront. A mild juicy citrus character with a hint if pine bitterness. Real good for a session IPA. Huge drinkability
