Pours oily black with a thin white head lacing. Aroma of chocolate, caramelized sugar, nuts. Taste has toasted nutty malt, some lingering chocolate. Palate has tons of chocolate, cocoa on the nose, lingering nutty malt. Good.

Can (21089--so 3/30/21) pour. It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with lots of white floaties, nice sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong mix of sweet and tart lemon and orange citrus along with milder herb and light grains. Taste is strong, sweet tangerine with other nondescript citrus and late grains. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, interesting aroma that's not quite matched in the flavor and a bit thin for the style, but a nice all Citra on a hot night hits the spot!

Can (203022, so 11/17/20) pour. Appearance is opaque, bright orange juice with tons of sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong Nelson grape with a bit of grassy/scallion herb. Taste follows aroma with herbal quality higher in the mix. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with only the vaguest hint of bitterness. Overall, aroma and flavor are nice Nelson but the Citra doesn't really shine through and a greater presence would make this a bit more complex and interesting. Still, quite good across the board.

Can (Born 20260, so 9/17/20), pour. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow with orange tinge, nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and mild leggy lacing. Aroma is moderately strong lemon and pineapple. Taste is strong lemon with lighter tangerine and pineapple with white bread background. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty good all around. Not super complex but good strength to aroma and flavor.

Can (20209, so 7/27/20) pour. Appearance is orange-light brown with light sparkle, 2-finger width rocky foam white head with good retention and spotty soapy lacing. Aroma is strong sweet fruit, apricot. Taste is strong apricot and milder grape. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with mild lingering bitterness. Overall, good strength of sweetness though not terribly complex. Nice look and feel.

16 oz. can in a trade with Tfontana, thanks Tom. Appearance is slightly hazy yellow. Aroma of lactic acid and sour mash. Flavor of lemon juice, soft acid, and maybe soft earthy from the tea. I don’t really taste any peach here. But it kind of does pull off the half / half Arnold Palmer drink. Just no peach.

Can (167th day of 2020) pour. Appearance is cloudy pale yellow with lots of sparkle, finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart lemonade over milder black tea. Not getting peach. Taste follows aroma--strong tart lemonade dominant over the tea, which is in about equal measure with some peach. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation, tartness that gets me in the back of the jaws and finish as taste. Overall, I can see how this would be a refreshing beverage at the 19th hole. About as tart as I like to go and a bit more sweetness from the peaches and presence of the tea would balance this more but still fairly enjoyable for a style that's not my favorite.

Can (20043) pour from The Beeracks. Appearance is opaque, bright orange with tons of sparkle, finger-plus rocky white foamy head with fair retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is candied fruit, tangerine. Taste is candied fruit along with a slightly astringent tart melon rind. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with mild lingering dry bitterness. Overall, decent strength to aroma and taste but mostly nonspecific sweet nice look and feel. OK.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom! Deep brown, red around the edges. Aroma is mild raspberries, subtle cherry, cocoa. Flavor has soft coca like base with good amount of lasting raspberry and more of a red current note. Sour and tart finish. The brewer nailed what he was after.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom! Strange date coating that means nothing. Aroma is candied orange, apricot, bready malt. Flavor shows the orange, apricot, bready. Texture has a mild juicy character. Above average for me.
