Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Shmupi. Cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops and some yeast. Dry flavor with fruity hops, yeast and nice bitterness. Light to medium-bodied and way over-carbonated. Carbonation levels are annoying but it’s still a nice one.

Tap at Irreale. Hazy Amber, offwhite lacing head. Leafy and citric hop nose, chewy melonoidin malt and orange-peel, lime hop notes. A bit more refined than the pale ale, but today I liked the raw freshness of that one better. This is still very very good though

Tap at Irreale. Fresh perfumed , leafy and citric hop aroma. Hazy pale yellow, creamy offwhite lace. Medium light creamy body. Exiting hops! Green apples, grass, a hint barn. Ephemeral and quite lovely.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Mastikim. Thanks Dagan. Hazy deep golden-copper. Pleasant fruity hops aroma, quite citric, with a bit of malt. Flavor has some malt sweetness, a bit of caramel, citric hops and moderate bitterness. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottle sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Brune foncée, col léger moka. Arôme st houblonné légèrement agrumes avec un bon bouquet de café en rétro. Palais est malté grillé sur une pointe de chocolaté en fin de bouche. Ce dernier conserve une petite note amer qui est accompagnée par un houblonné qui reste cependant un peu en retrait pour cette Black IPA. Retrouve néanmoins un fruité agrumes plaisant. Un niveau alcool plus bas aurait été peut-être plus judicieux pour offrir plus de place aux houblons.

12oz pour at La Resistencia in Barcelona. Pours a hazy orange with some spitty white head. Nose has some grapefruit pith, mild malt, m8ld fruit. Honey sweetness in the mouth is followed by a fleck of lemon, soap, lime. Watery finish.

Pours clear yellowish orange with a small white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit, crisp maltiness and caramel. Taste is fresh hoppy, citrusy, grapefruity and malty with some caramely and biscuity notes. Finish is juicy hoppy and grapefruity with some caramel, citrus and floral notes. Quite smooth, hoppy and fresh APA.
