(Bottle 75 cl) A seaweed ale!! Now, that’s a first. Very unclear, amber colour with a small, white head. Weird scent of... coastline? Mysterious flavour of saltwater and mussels with some weak, underlying salty notes. Deeply unusual and original brew. 120805

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A hazy amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is a weird spicy one - is it the seaweeds? The flavor is sweet spicy with among others notes of coriander - the seaweed must also be in there. The body is thin.

Amber colour, giant creamy head; bottle conditioned. Nice aroma of malt, lightly fruity and spicy (oranges, coriander, ...). Good body, smooth, sweet, malty, well balanced. Harmonious and persistent final.
