Bottle. Peppery aroma. Yellow colour, white head. Peppery flavour, not much of anything else. Perhaps a little vegetable, but otherwise quite clean. Nice for a strong lager.

Blond color. Ordinary aroma, dry, some hop and malt. Strong mouthfeel, some initial sweetness, middle alcohol perception (warming), very strong final bitterness.

Bottle. This beer originally made by Thor Randers was an alternativ to the more sweet "Hvid x-mas. And it is better. Creamy white mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Good malty aroma and taste. Average finish duration. Oily palate and lively but not too carbonated. my favorite commercial christmasbeer.

Bottle. Creamy white moslty lasting head. Yellow colour. Bready aroma, but nice flavor. A little sweet. Good carbonated. A deasent pilsener. One of the oldest danish christmas beers originally brewed by Thor, Randers

Clear amber color, small off-white head. Aroma of malts and rubber boots. Light, watery, sugary malty. Almost like some table beer, so maybe ok with Christmas food, but without it not very good. This is "dunkel" in RB but I found this more like vienna.

Bottled. Golden with a small white head. Mild aroma of malt. Some sweetness in flavor. Quite sticky on the palate. The blue one is better. Rating: 3-3-4-3-10-2.3. (051208)
Can. It pours a sparkling, crystal clear golden body with a half centimeter dense, white head. Sweetish impression on the nose, almost corn-like, with some faint notes of caramel. Some notes of fruits, alcohol and metal too. Fruity-syrup in the mouth, supported by some caramel and with a pleasant, quite effervescent, full-bodied palate. The touch of metal and alcohol found in the aroma is present in the flavor too, leading to a finish with some bitterness, but not enough to conquer the sweetness. As expected, the metal and alcohol shows up in the end too, and the metal seems stronger. Borderline annoying, actually. It’s not a very good beer, sure, it’s drinkable and all that, but it fails completely to fill me with the Christmas spirit. (090320)
