Called Framboise Hardy at Sergent Recruteur. Light blonde ale with a small white head. Fresh wheat aroma with no raspberry! Refreshing wheat with art raspeberry finish. Light lactic notes. Light bodied. (Sept. 2004)

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Bronze colour. Very sweet with syrupy mouthfeel. All about sugar and beyond the aching sweetness there’s nothing. Too cloying to finish even a sampler.

Cloudy blonde. Curacao and coriander aroma. Sweet with soft, clean mouthfeel. The flavour is strongly wheaty and it’s heavy on coriander.

It gave off Belgium chocolaty fruity nose with a sensational hazelnut chocolate fondue palate with hints of earthiness, ending delectably chocolaty.

Had persisting floral notes and woodiness complimented by a bitter finish. Not bad, but not outstanding

This was a fascinating brew, having a tropical fruit and licorice nose and tasting like a pineapple/mango cocktail followed by a mango finish I could see this one being popular with the ladies.

Wonderful tropical fruit, sugar candy nose. The proceeded with a grapefruity-caramel taste leading to a dry grapefruit finish. God I love sweet beers!
