A really nice and decent porter.
If you wondered…it is almost complete black. Ok intensity in the aroma. Fine body and an ok carbonation level. Easy to drink. Not flat or to soft. Then they are horrible. Chocolate, roast and coffee in the flavor.

Cask at Granite City. It pours hazy yellow with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is doughy white bread, chalky, stone fruits, apricot and sponge cake. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy citrus, doughy white bread, apricot, persimmon, straw, chalky and floral accents with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. OK for the style, perhaps a bit doughy.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen Drukket på Lillehøgda. Mørk varm gylden. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum som daler sakte. Tykk teppelacing. Veldig lett maltaroma. Smaken behagelig balansert mellom malt & sitrusfrukt. Tørr ettersmak som ga mersmak. Litt bunnfall. Bra hveteøl!

330ml bottle, 6.2 %, many thanks to Finn for this beer gift. A solid wheat haze to an orange-brown body. Stable off-white head that laced well. Doughy nose with hints of leaves. Blended taste of dark wheat, brown malts, hints of banana, and a backdrop of ripe fruits. Fine bodied. Okay version of the style. (Tromsø 12.04.2018).
