Description
Munkebo Brewery was founded in late 2013 when our brew master returned to Denmark after working in a Brewery, in the German mountains. We brew our beer at different breweries, but mainly in Denmark with colab’s various places at other breweries at home and abroad. Munkebo moved in 2019 from the old base at Kerteminde to the harbor in Odense, in an old warehouse from the 17th century.

Bottle DØE2018. Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

DØE. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, pine, hop and caramel. Flavour is malt, caramel, hop, pine, sweet, alcohol, boozy and bitter.

DØE. Black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, alcohol, berries and hop. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, alcohol, sweet, berries and bitter.

Ølfestivalen København. Black with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with lots of licorice and a fruity touch. Sweet roasted flavour with fruity hops and a very bitter finish.
