Can from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours brassy gold with a small white head. Aroma is very citrus - like grapefruit and orange. Suggesting dank. Med ++ body. Flavor is a bit malty, but the citrus bombs keep that well under control. I've had danker, but this is arguably such. Probably well balanced. The hops aren't obliterating the malt anyway. Mild hop burn. Not dry dry, but bitter bitter. For me this is in the range of how beer ought to be. Recommended.

On tap at Pita Kabob in Visalia. Very impressive offering. Black with full brown head. Overt roast that is balanced well by the bitterness.

Bomber from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours dark brown with a modest tan head. Aroma of darkish treacle, smoke and darkish fruits. Med body or so. Flavor is darkish treacle, something else that's a bit sweet, perhaps darkish fruits; mild, mild smoke, and something suggesting chocolate. Not super heavy. Pretty far from dry, and maybe a little floral/spice hop bitter. Very little. Quite nice tho.

Can from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours gold with a slight white head. Aroma is more resin/pine than anything else. Med + body. Flavor is certainly resin/pine, but it is so hoppy that many other things might be hidden. Despite the incredible hop load and hop burn, it doesn't seem exactly dank. Can dank be overwhelmed with excessive hop? If so, this may be the case. It's dry for me, and oh so bitter. I doubt balance is in it. But balance is overrated. Bitter's the thing! In a word: Wowser!

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma is treacle and chocolate for me. Med + body at least. Flavor is treacle, chocolate, hints of dark fruits, and a tinge of liquorice. Not as strongly flavored or alcoholic as some BPs, but quite smooth and tasty.
