Bottle. Nice creamy fully lasting head. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich coffee, sweet roast malt, chocolate, caramel and hops. Nice beer if you like coffee.

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark black colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good - excellent lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty, roasted, chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111126]

As Ikast Øl. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty and light fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 141211

Medium brown head. Deep dark brown body with light carbonation. Roasty chocolatey pineapple aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweet minty roasty fruity taste with earthy musty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, faintly dusty mouthfeel. Dry-sweetish roasty burnt aftertaste with raisiny citric notes. Fascinatingly different beer. A bit cellary and musty for me, but nice, and very nice aftertaste with some unusual flavour combinations. Very clear and vivid. (0.5l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s (as Ikast Øl) . Hazy amber, mid sized head. Fruity nose with herbs and caramel. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Rich herbal flavour, mild grassy salty bitterness.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Some fruity ester notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Averafge moderate bitter and light swet finish. Gets a little to sweet for 50 cl. Creamy palate. Nice but share it.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday chriso tasting, London. Pours a lightly hazy, shiny gold with a moderate, white foam head. Sweet, caramel malt nose. Medium sweet flavor, some fruit, grapes, caramel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Faintly dry finish with caramel sweetness and leafy bitterness. Decent beer.
