Can in San Diego. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Not bad overall, pithy, some piney bitterness, tangerine rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more rindy bitterness, touches of pine. Not bad.

Bottle share: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, maybe a chocolate. Taste is coffee and loads of it. Chocolatey finish. Sort of sweet. Solid.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some wispy, white head. Nose is zippy, grassy, lime, scrape, some vanilla. Flavor follows, some lime, zippy grass, lemon curd, soapy. Oily finish. Crushable and very nice.

16 oz can shared at the DC RateBeer May tasting. Mostly clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, light tropical fruit. Tastes of citrus, light tropical fruit, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice.

Clear deep blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, bit dank, cheesy touch, sweetish, more dank notes, some orange peel, papaya, nice stuff! MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: fruity, soft bitterness, pretty dank, some citrus, lots of grapefruit, slightly sweet, bit malty. Aftertaste: some caramel, very bitter, bit resinous, very fruity, nice stuff!

From a 16 oz. can.it is a very pale yellow with a slight head. The Aroma is citrus. And the taste is strong bitter grapefruit peel ftgat lingers on the palate

From a 16 oz. can. Pours a very pale gold with an off white head. Aroma is pine and citrus. Bitter citrus peel flavor. Big flavor for a session ale.

16oz can at the May 2018 DC RB Tasting. Shared by GenDEV183, thanks Donnie! Poured a clear yellow color with a wispy slightly off-white head. Really nice juicy notes, subtle. Flavor was juicy, with perhaps a touch of honey? Tasty.

It’s still early enough have a coffee beer... this one is made with coffee from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. Pizza Port Bacon & Eggs Imperial Coffee Porter 8% Deep black with a tan head and a great coffee roasty sweet aroma with some fruit and spice notes. Smooth bodied and it has a full mouthfeel. The taste is great: roasty milk coffee notes, cacao and a semi-sweet blend of spices. This is one of the best coffee beers I’ve had in awhile. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at the Carlsbad brewpub. The beer is a hazy orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lace. Tropical fruit, hops and malt aroma. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, tropical fruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.
