Medium brown, thin head. Big vegetal coffee nose, palate hits similar, maybe a touch more restrained, but yeah big coffee. Not as much malt base as I expected. No bacon nor egg character of any type.

On tap at the Ocean Beach location. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dank citrus and a bit of onion with some mango and sweet grains underlying. Flavor has light mango, dank citrus and a bit of onion that grows.

Sampled from the tap at the Ocean Beach location. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has light tropical fruits, melon and pine with a bit of a grain backbone. Flavor combines dank mango and pine with some slightly sweet grain underlying.

Part of a flight at Pizza Port, Carlsbad on 20th July 2023. Deep old gold colour, slight haze, white head. Cloves and banana like esters and taste, fairly sweet and very easy to drink.

The nose shows intense forward notes of citra (i.e. pineapple and light kiwi)
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Strong citra forwardness throughout with a mild bitterness. Very good hoppy pilsner.
