Bottled at RBESG ’07. Clear golden. Sweet and buttery with clean mouthfeel and some syrup. Simple ,fruity and lager-like. Low bitterness. Provides nothing that I can enjoy.

Interesting candyish aroma, some candied orange peel, jelly beans, a tingle of phenol. Flavor surprisingly clean, with a rye bread maltiness, and a sweep of grassy hops into the dry somewhat thin finish. The aftertaste hints at a vague spicy hop. Not alot of character here. Light to medium body. Cloudy amber color, fading head but it left alot of nice lacing.

Brown with a lasting light brown head. Malty aroma with some plum. Big sweet, fruity, malty flavour with a rich and deep malt character. My first beer at the Chris_O shindig, and a great way to start the day.

Not bad. It might be a little oxidized, but only a little bit. Aroma has yeast as well. Flavor is a balance of sweet malt like a dark Belgian ale with yeast and light spice. Cloudy, light brown appearance with some sediment. These Ch’ti beers aren’t bad, but far too expensive. I only paid $5 for this and it is a good value at that price.
