A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, grain, and brewing cereal, giving it a sour tinge. The flavor is a mixture of sweet and sour (from brewing cereal) and notes of grain.

[Bottled, thanks Bov!] Fizzy yellow, coarse head. Lightly grainy aroma. Medium sweet with more fizz than flavour, and almost no bitterness.

Thanks to Bov, I have finally acquired a beer from Kosovo to call my own. And apparently it was the only good one ever made. Ha-ha all you suckers!
Pejes has a deep golden colour. That alone is an homage, but the aroma extends that theme further, bringing a fat, tangy combo of saaz and brawny pale malts. Bitter, freshly malty, with lots of hoppy grassiness, this is true Bohemian Pilsner by style without a doubt. Very clean, smooth and rounded. Probably lagered two months at least. A very good example of the style. I love it when a new country yields a great beer.
