Canned 500ml. -Clear yellow coloured, small airy white head, lively carbonation, some dusty grain in the nose. Weak malty, hint of cardboard and grain with pretty high carbonation. Touch of metal in the finish. Crap as usual.

BOTTLE 50CL as "Peja Original", 4.2% ABV.
Look: clear straw, white frothy head.
Aroma: clean sweetness and malt, grassy hops.
Taste: light sweetness, soft low to moderate hop bitterness, clean and crisp. An ok macro-lager.

330ml bottle @ the 5th Shrewsbury Bottle share, courtesy of myself, bought from Drinks of the World, Winterthur. Like everyone else this was bought for the Kosovo tick and not actually that bad. Pours gold with a sweetish taste.. a perfectly fine European pilsner.

Draught at Hotel Dukagjini in Peje/Peć. Nice yellow colour, hazy compared to the regular version, with a tick white foam. Nose of corn and malt. This batch is good when compared to others I had before in the same place: refreshing feel, lemon grass, bitter end. Re-tasted on 27th of August 2015 at 4:20 pub in Rome Italy with Mortlach and Dino. Courtesy of Shkumbin (Director of the brewery), who gave me a 0,33 bottle sample in the morning just poured from the fermenter. We opened it few hours later: more yeasty notes of bread crumb, bread crust, milled malts. A blast of fresh grassy hops. It felt as chewing bread. It was so floral as well and rich in its un believable 4,2 %. The day after we opened another bottle at Bir&Fud with Manuele and sadly did not taste the same, although still quite good. A great pilsner this unfiltered version, the brewery should make a move and try to distribute it wider on the local market. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml Bottle brought to the May Shrewsbury Beer Swap by Mat. Obtained in Switzerland and badged as ’original’ not ’pilsner’: same ABV and obviously the same beer inside as the pilsner. Anyway, down to the beer. Typical lager/pilsner look, golden, clear and bright, mid to light gold in colour with a fading white covering. Almost odourless with just a mild grassy hint in the nose. The taste was semi-sweet and not unpleasant. So in a nutshell: a bog standard lager/pilsner that could have been brewed anywhere in the world, but gave me the ’Kosovo’ tick!

Pours out with a completely clear golden color. There is a generous white head which settles down relatively quick. The aroma is very mild, just some weak malts and grains. The taste is expected. Sweet beginning followed by a hoppy body wnding with slight bitterness. It’s light, easy to drinks. Maybe slightly watery, but that was expected. Decent.
