Bottle from CH-303 - thank you, Asbjørn! Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with some hoppy notes. Sweetish, malty flavour, with touches of hops and pronounced notes of yeast. Bitter aftertaste with pronounced cardboard notes. Drinkable, although nothing special. Still, a very valuable country tick. Thank you, Asbjørn!

A clear deep pour with a foamy white head that is gone in a blink. The nose is of dirty dishwater, earthy & sugary sweet. A rough sandy carbonation on a light body. The taste is very sugary sweet, maize and leaves a slick oily mouthfeel... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33 on tap in Peje/Pec-Kosovo. Pours light yellow, filtered with a medium-big white foam which leaves drafts on the glass. Nose: Pilsner malty grains, bread, a bit of honey but everything slightly perceivable. Also some corn, sadly. Mouth: light body, malty peculiar accent, balanced hoppy bitterness. A little over the average of the local macros but still it lays in the limbo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl can from douberd, thanks Christos! Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, slightly artificial, vanilla essence, light malty. Flavour is medium sweet, saccharose, light malty, hint of hay, just light bitter. Light bodied. Inoffensive lager, resembling beers from the tropics.

Pale yellow colour, moderate sized head; aroma and taste of corn and it would be very hard to find anything else...maybe some spice in the finish

Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle. Name on the bottle: Birra Peja Original. Grainy nose. The beer starts sweet, fresh with lots of grain. Not too bad. Sharper bitter till the end, grain, sweetish, easy to dink. Fine, but nothing special!

Sampled this one twice, both times courtesy of ippopotamo36 , grazie signore! First time on draft at Hotel Dukagjini - very slightly hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of black pepper is the most noticeable difference for me compared to the filtered version, but there is also some fresh hay and straw, maybe light lemon. Taste is smooth, peppery lemon. Second time was at the source, insider tour arranged by ippopotamo36, conducted by Korab. When we got to the fermentation room, one of Korab’s colleagues, who has worked at the brewery for 33 years, pulled this one from a vessel that just a day or so from bottling, so 20 days into fermentation. Appearance was very slightly more cloudy, and that black pepper aroma was still present; both the aroma and the flavor had a bit of honey that I hadn’t detected before. Overall a very solid commercial lager, and an amazing tour!

Bottle in Gjakova. Crystal clear yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of light straw, subtle white pepper. Taste is mildly bitter and plain. 6-3-5-3-8-2.6 Freshly filled bottle from the source, pulled off the bottling line by Korab just before capping, thank you sir! Consumed from the bottle, so can’t comment on appearance and limited exposure to aroma, but it seems the same. Taste is slightly more hay and straw, light lemon, cool and refreshing. 6-3-7-3-10-2.9
