Bottle 330ml. [ As De Naeckte Brouwers Zonnegloed ].Unclear medium yellow - amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, yeast, spicy yeast. Bottle split with Kenny in the special surprise room tasting, Amsterdam Inntel pre Borefts livener, 25/09/14. Murked up dark Seville orange with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is bitter citrics, light spice, caramel, straw. Taste comprises caramel malt, sweet licks, light hop tunes, bitter orange, tangy apricots. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair, lacks hop presence and ’overcarbed’ Dutch beer shocker!

Bottle. A big, rocky, off-white head forms over an almost clear, golden body. The aroma is lightly yeasty and barnyard-ish, with white sugar, yeast and some peach. Pepper hints and pine cones too. Fruity, sugary flavor, with yeast and some resins. Quite dry on the palate, nice carbonation level. Lasting finish. I like the dryness in this one, else it’s rather mediocre. 140927
