Bottled (BB 01/2007). Hazy yellow color, small white head. Sour nose. Sweet fruity and complex flavor. Then my cryptic rating - the last of the long evening in Gothernburg - says that: "but needs some more craftmanship".

330ml Bottle, Picked up from the ’Dodgy Deli’ on the Cowley Rd, Oxford. I agree with Blankboy, some of the others are being a bit hard on this beer, I really liked it poured cloudy and yellow really honey aroma which stretched through into the flavour, bit weak on the hop front and malts not massively present but it was nice and easy drinking.

Pours red amber into a tulip. Raspberry jello aromas. Agressive pour produces little head that quickly dissipates in large bubbles to skim the surface. Flat. Raspberries from start to finish with minor bite upon lasting closure.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a clear amber with basically no head. Light aroma of caramel. Sweet, full body with a distinct malty character. Soft, smooth and pleasant without much bitterness. 060706 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Comes as "La Choulette De Printemps". Pours a clear amber golden with a dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Aroma of fruit, malt and a little caramel. An edge of cardboard. Medium-bodied with unclean, fusty notes. Best before Oct 2006. Pours slightly hazy gold into a tulip. Significant bright white micro head. Honey and grass aromas. Fizzy with upfront sweet honey and a lasting bitterhoney finish.

Golden ale with a thine creamy white head. Light oxidized malt with caramel, and light butterscotch. In mouth, a sweet lager type, with crisp hops, light cardboardy notes, medium bodied. I cant really say I’m a big fan of Biere de Garde. At the Mondiale, June 2006.

A hazy amber beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is malty with notes of wood, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits and wood. Somewhat boring.
