Bottle at Dean’s Pale Lager tasting, Den Haag. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is creamy caramel malt with yeast. The flavour is medium bitter. Medium bodied with a slightly sour citrus dry yeast palate.

Bottle at home, 28th September 13. Pours a huge head, fairly clear. Slightly spicey on the nose, ginger, some yeast elements and some metal. Taste is piney some bitterness, lots of yeast, more of a Belgian IPA than an American

6/16/2013 On tap at one of the Kimchi beer/food/arts fests, at Roest. Hazy orange/amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of spruce, weed, grapefruit, some more citrus, toast. Flavour is light-sweet, floral, lots of citrus and some weed, toast, hint of caramel, spruce and citrus bitter finish. Thin body, adding to the refreshing character of the beer. Nice. 838315 Re-rate: 3/3/2016 33cl Bottle. Hazy copper colour, off-white head. Aroma of dead yeast, some citrus, floral notes, fruity. Flavour is light malty, caramel, fruity, yeasty, citrus, grassy, herbal bitter finish. Typical US Ale (dead) yeast aroma and flavours that I find to be off-putting. 637313

33 cl bottle @ home. Hazy, amber color. Firm, rocky, white to off white head. Aroma’s: flowery hops, caramel, little citrus. A bit more citrus & pine retronasal as well as some tropical fruit. Flavor is medium bitter, with light caramel notes. Light to medium bodied. Long bitter finish. Maybe not quite an American IPA, but quite tasty & sessionable.
