Two Chefs Brewing started in 2012 with the desire to completely stock our homes with home made funky beers and we haven’t stopped brewing since. We always aim to provoke the conventional and we like to stick out our tongue to the familiar.

Tap at Oorlam. Dark, strong cappuccino head. Espresso, mercy coffee cream chocolate. Fluffy, light and soft, balanced be a creamy bitter coffee. Not sticky. I like.

Tap at Bar Oorlam. Black, dark brown cream. Big coffee and dark chocolate notes, nice mousse foaming mouth feel. Pleasant balance, sweet, dry. Light boozy praline. A bit smoke. Dangerously drinkable. Good.

Can picked up from Craftbeershop webshop, Parchim Germany and consumed outside down by the wood oven, we're cooking a sort of Kedgeree type dish, Sunday 7th June 2026 listening to Deadletter - Existence is Bliss. Pours mid yellow colour, another beer with a slight cloudiness, sticky white head. Solid West Coast IPA, resinous, pretty decent but far from exciting, fresh, crisp, piney, citrus, drying on the finish. I like it but was left hoping for more. Score: 7.1

330mL can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma has an intense roasted malt base, molasses, and some low-quality barrels. Flavour is rich and layered, with big bourbon barrels, medium roast, molasses, light sugars, and dark chocolate. Rich, great barrel character, just enough sugars, with a very thick palate. Excellent.

Dark brown. No head. Quite thick. Fairly rich on the nose, good umami, soy sauce, lots of bourbon. On the palate, the body is big. The barrels lend umami, lots of nice sugars, good dark malt complexity. Balanced - good sweetness and a touch of bitterness.

Can 33cl. from AH XL Muiden @home poured into a shaker. Clear very pale yellow piss colour, short-lived fizzy white head, no lacing. Aroma pale malt, grain, grapefruit. Taste below medium sweet and bitter, light malty, sweet and bitter grapefruit, rivella. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, refreshing, clean, some mineral traces, in the finish, anyway an unusual radler, decent.

This weissbier is not so tropical, classic and rather dry and mineral, not so fruity than an Ayinger urweiss, even tough average, 21.02.18, at Hoofdroop.
