Can picked up from Walther Mai, München and consumed at home Tuesday 30th December 2025 listening to Anna von Hausswolff - Iconoclasts and then watching Tales from The Loop on Amazon Prime. We had a superb Gorgonzola & Pancetta Mac' & Cheese for tea tonight. Pours murky very dark brown edging towards black, actually what am I saying it's practically black, there's a small beige head. Aroma is heavy on coffee, roasted malts and hints of bitter chocolate, flavour follows a similar trajectory with a light bitterness and hoppy streak. After a couple of very sweet and OTT Impys lately this brought things back to where they should be with this style, really good beer, lovely stuff. Score 8.1

Schenkt een heldere blonde kleur. Aroma's: fruitig en moutig. Smaak is het maar weinig zoet, wel fruitig, iets bitter. Lichte body. Bitterige afdronk.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a rough, white head. Oh damn that aroma of stale, greasy chemical hops - puke material. Light body, salty and minerally with a sweet, itrusy fruitiness. No real bitterness. Decent if not for the disgusting aroma. 201225
