Lichte body. Korte finish, lichtjes bitter. Best plezierig.

On tap at Taphouse Frankfurt, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has citrusy hops, bready malts (a bit of cardboard), and light pine. Flavour is robustly hopped, unfortunately bringing out a lot of Nectaron—lots of syrupy, floral hops—backed by a syrupy malt base. What seems sturdy and balanced on the nose turns it not a cloying syrupy experience on the palate. It’s alright but far from convincing in terms of emulating the best American II(I)PAs.
