Description
Two Chefs Brewing started in 2012 with the desire to completely stock our homes with home made funky beers and we haven’t stopped brewing since. We always aim to provoke the conventional and we like to stick out our tongue to the familiar.

Can from Hopduvel.
A: cloudy black, small, foamy, dark beige head.
A: lots of tobacco, peated whisky & peat, espresso, fondant, salmiak.
T: sweetish prune, bitter coffee, cream, smoke & salt.
F: earthy hops, tobacco, fondant, warming peated whisky alcohol.
P: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Strong Ardbeg presence obviously. Very good, probably a love-it-or-hate-it thing.

Can at home shared with Laura. Hazy ugly pale yellow color, full sized white head. Aroma is sweet hoppy, slightly perfumy, tropical fruity. Flavor is similar. Overripe fruit notes. Flat, hardly any carbonation. Average body. Mwah at best tbh.

Medium, stable white head; faintly orangey tinted veiled golden beer. Peach, felt, cardamome husk, raw grains, rainwater, dark green leaves. Lime, rather than lemon. Spicy, peach, lime, yes. Some other grains. Tannins, yes (bis), rather than specifically tea. After some time however, tea with lemon, all the same. Delicate retronasal aroma of sweet woodruff. Light body, medium carbonation, spritzy if slick. Starts a bit uneasy, finishes quite OK.

COD 15-01-25.

Small greige head over jet-black beer. Peat, Islay whisky, roast, tarred poles. Sweet roast, grains, Islay malt (*). Bit of rubber. Furious alcoholheat; sticky oily feel, full bodied. Very good, absolutely convincing. I confess: I paired it with a shot of Ardbeg 10 years. (*) Ardbeg is also a rather sweet Islay.
