Bottle pour shared by Steve. Opaque black with ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is nice balance of bourbon, coconut and vanilla. Taste is base sweet malt, slightly peaty, mellow bourbon, vanilla, coconut. Smooth, frothy texture, full bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste.

Can (1/16/24) pour shared by Steve. Hazy dark brown-dark orange with trace sparkle, thin head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted pumpernickel bread crust, hint of dark fruit. Taste is strong roasted malt. Smooth, frothy, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Without seeing their description, I'd say true to style. Not getting 2/3 of what they say they were going for so disappointing in that regard.

Can (1/2/24) pour shared by Steve. Hazy maple syrup brown with reddish hue, thin head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong dark roast, cola, leather, milder anise, hint of dark fruit. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Excellent strength for ABV(!) w/decent complexity.
