Growler from the brewery. Copper pour, with a small white head. Aroma has alot of pungent UK hops. Light pine, some good biscuity malts, slightly crackery also. Nice mouth feel, solid carb. The finish is lightly bitter with a lovely UK hop presence, tastes like alot of fuggles, with some light North American hop additions.

Had at the Koven with friends on our first visit there (and not the last). Pours a clear copper colour with a fizzy light beige head and minimal lacing. Coffee aromas over mild roasted malts and dark fruits. Light roasted malt flavours with a light bitter finish and just hints of coffee. Alright for a lighter alcohol content darker brew, but not much else going on other than that.

Enjoyed at Pub Italia. Pours a dark brown colour with copper highlights, a beige head and decent lacing. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, nuts and roasted malts. Mild roasted malt flavours and not much more. Maybe some hop bitterness in the finish. Nice smelling, but a little too mild tasting. An easy-drinking porter.
