From Kandersteg or Ostermundigen, bringing this can from Epalinges to Bonfol. For the ascent, we didn't really have a beach time, even though it is a right draft beer, a bit weak at the beginning and clearly better and more bitter at the final, 19.05.23.

clear dark brown to mahogany colour, almost an inch of dense beige head; aroma and taste of over-roasted nutty-sunflower seeds, toasted rye bready, some cocoa, raisins, dried sour cherry, prune, burnt woody and slight soy sauce notes; not bad at all

Can picked up two years ago at the Alte Tramdepot. Black with a beige head of modest duration. Aroma promises burnt grains, burnt rubber, cherries and chocolate. Taste is bitter with a moderate underlying umami taste reminiscent of soy sauce. Full bodied, mild carbonation, mildly oily. Long umami finish. Interesting. Not particularly appealing.
