Draught Head gone in secs; amber-orange beer. Caramel, UK-like hops, hopbales, green herbs. Bitter, hoppy with citrus and orangepeel. Ever so slightly astringent; hopoil-intoned, medium bodied and slick. Nice, but given blind, I wouldn’t have guessed what was intented.

Sampled from tap at ACBF 2017. Slightly hazy, very dark purple. Sweetish, fruity aroma of blackcurrant and raspberries. Very sweet, malty and slightly fruity taste of blackcurrant, plums, raspberries and some raisins, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Clear amber beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, hoppy, tropical fruits, some jam. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, pretty sourish, fruity, orange, bitter hops, orange peel. Aftertaste: sourish, alcohol, dried fruits, caramel.

Clear red brown beer, no head. Aroma: barley wine aroma, sweet, ripe banana, strawberry jam, caramel, sugary, what a lovely smell! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of raspberry jam, sweet, bit sugary, little metallic, bitter, alcohol, caramel, soft acidity. Aftertaste: bit hoppy, sweet, malty, alcohol, lots of ripe banana, bit yeasty, raspberry jam, bitter hops, bit metallic.

On tap at Pressklubben. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of coffee, light spices and something that reminded of elderflowers. The body was around medium as was the bitterness.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium, consumed at home Saturday 14th January 2017 Pours amber with a slim white head, soft in the mouth with a steady bitter but ultimately sweet tang, dry finish, a little yeastiness, some overripe cooked banana, it’s got a nice saisony bite, it’s a jolly decent beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

330ml Bottle - Light amber in colour. Peach, banana, spice and blueberries in the aroma. Fruity, hoppy and slightly spicy taste with peach, gooseberries, grapefruit, blueberries and banana detected.

Keg at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, rich head. Citrusy nose with some dusty elderflowers. Mid dry with medium body and rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Marzipan, citrus and elderflowers. Resinous bitter finish.
