BIAB from Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Golden colour, no head and juicy crisp apple aroma. Flavour is fruity apple, juicy, sweetish, honey note, with alittle tannin. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry mellow fruity finish. Quite OK.

Bag in Box at George Croydon. It pours clear rich gold with no head. The aroma is rich, sweet, stewed apple, apple juice from concentrate, something artificial, honey and fruit cake. The taste is rich, bitter-sweet, oily, big alcohol character, apple juice from concentrate, stewed fruits, bread & butter pudding, oily, sweet and pretty heavy duty. Boosty, but too rough.

Bottle from Tesco, Ilfracombe. Lighter golden ale with a carbonation. It has a very light aroma too, but more stated with its apple in its taste, with its dryness mainly lingering long in its aftertaste.

Keg at High Wycombe cricket club, 25/06/16. Clear golden with carbonation evident. Nose is apple peel, straw, sweet notes, caramel. Taste comprises toffee apple, straw, toasted brown sugar, light smoke, apple orchard. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Average but ok on a hot summers evening.

Can at home, 21/06/16. Clear golden with a decent white cap. Nose is apple pulp, light wood, straw. Taste comprises apple skin, sweet lucks but not overly so, hint of tarte orchard fruit. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, dry close. Not too bad for a cheap supermarket number I guess.

Bottled. Golden colour, minor head. Aroma is apple, some juiciness, mild spruce and wood. Flavour is apple, some wood and mild "nectary" sweetness to it. Quite pleasantly dry finish, where dry apple totally dominates.
