Hand bottle via a big fucken bottle via BoostIPA. Thanks BRA! Shared in my parent’s basement with RABinCO. Pours a light yellow appearance with a fizzy white head. The aroma literally smells like fucken garbage and dumpster sludge. Some slight fruit juice in the nose but mostly just smells of rotten trash. The flavor is a little better. Pretty high tartness. Spritzy. Frozen apple juice flavor. Not that great of flavor but surely better than the fucken aroma. Let’s be adults here: this fucken sucks.

500ml plastic clear bottle from Tesco. 4.7%. Pours pale yellow, no head. Light apple aroma. Taste is light sweet. Pretty dull to be honest.

50cl bottle from a Londis. Very pale straw with light carbonation; floral aroma; crisp fruity, pear taste. Extremely good, given the low price (£1 a bottle).

50cl bottle from a Londis. Straw coloured with a fair amount of carbonation; pleasantly musty aroma; crisp, dry taste with some nicely tart fruit. Good stuff.

Keg @ John Bull Chop House, Wigan. Bright gold in colour with a carbonation. It’s very sweet with plenty of apple flavour and a long lingering aftertaste.

500ml can from local shop. Pours a pale yellow green-tinged colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of sweaty socks, sugary apple, sulphur. Taste is sweet apple, with artificial sweeteners plus sulphur, hay & straw notes. Thin slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light bodied, fizzy carbonation, some lingering straw with a sickly dry finish.

Can from SuperValu, Longford [070414]
Amber, clear. Nose is sweet, fairly appley, tangy. Taste of sweet apple, tangy, some added sugar in here it seems. Moderate carbonation, rather sweet, acidic tang. Finish as main flavour, sweet apple, some sugar syrup.
Overall - I’ve had worse, average supermarket cider but better than the likes of Strongbow.
