(Draught at Craft Beer Spot, Prague, 19 July 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grain and hay. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, grain, hay and a gentle herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. Clean and fresh, hardly complex, but really harmonious and well made pilsener. Very nice.

Tap at the brewpub. Murky red-orange body, bit chalky, pinkish-ivory head. Lovely raspberry-strawberry aroma. Sourish strawberry-dominated aroma, soft. The tartness is mild, doing well to counter. Well executed fruit beer rather than sour, enjoyable and genuinely nice easy drinking beer!

Tap at the brewpub. Pleasant hoppy aroma, spicy lime, some peachy touches, soft and creamy. Creamy taste, smooth, odd grainy, yeasty notes, overripe stone fruit, sweaty... Trace bitterish touches... uuh, doesn't work taste-wise for me. The body is great really but the fruity and malty notes just don't work.

Bottle 0.75l from our archive, more than two years aged. Lightly cloudy, dark red to black colored. AROMA- nice aged character, dark chocolate, coconut, chocolate bar with coconut filling. FLAVOR- very smooth and creamy, lightly sweet, lightly bitter, liquid dessert and pralines, chocolate, coconut, touch of sour cherry. Fuller bodied. Very nice surprise.

Tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden body, off-white head. Herbal, somewhat minty aroma, soft malty undertones, sweetish. Pleasant, distinct herbal, spicy, bittersweet minty taste, some light grainy, vaguely yolky maltiness. Not sure I like the body entirely, almost flat-seeming, but distinctly Czech in a good way!

Draught at Black Dog Prague. Lightly cloudy, pale gold colored. AROMA- very herbal, citrusy, vanilla. FLAVOR- dry, moderately bitter, smooth, citrusy, peach, floral and herbal, citrus jelly. Medium bodied. Nice surprise.

Bottle from chameleon Kralupy. Deep Golden with a tall head. Lovely, promising aroma of fruity hops. Full-bodied with a good malty base and pleasant fruity flavours (lemon, some Grapefruit and tangerine) and a pleasant underlying hoppy bitterness.

bottle from Chameleon Kralupy nad Vltavou. Amber brown with a tall off-white head. Aroma of hops and caramel. Malty with caramel and toffee, good aromatic and bitter hops. Classic polotmavy well crafted.
