Nous sommes un groupe d’explorateurs de bières, attachés aux produits naturels et lançons sous la marque "SuperFoodBeers" une gamme de bières bio originales, produites localement avec des ingrédients présentant des intérêts gustatifs.
La première bière de notre gamme est une blonde légère et désaltérante. Baptisée "5.G", elle intègre 5 de ces "super aliments". Après quelques expérimentations encourageantes au sein du ZythoClub de la Belgian Beer Academy, nous avons peaufiné la recette avec Dominique Broutin (de la microbrasserie coopérative Bierodrome à Tournai). La 5.G offre une bouche rafraichissante et une amertume légère et parfumée.
Aujourd’hui, nous disposons d’une gamme de 7 bières diversifiées, toutes sont BIO...et délicieusement aromatiques.

Shared bottle at BBT May 2023. Hazy Pale golden color with minimal white head. DMS, old malt, light hops, infection. Taste is DMS, yeasty bitterness, lemon, infection, solvent, oxidation, heavy oxidation.

Appearance: Cloudy straw yellow, large white frothy head of perfect retention. Aroma: Wheat bread, garass, spicy notes, distant lemon. Taste: Medium dry. Bready, grassy, less spicy. Light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Pretty drinkable.

Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with a good white head. Aroma: Spicy Belgian yeast (coriander upfront, peppers), overripe apples & pears, pale malt. Taste: Light sweet & light plus bitter. Apple seeds, spicy yeast, dried pears, grass. Hoppy ending. Mouth feel: medium body, lively carbonation. Summary: Good. Not because of Maca.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy deep golden, lively head. Aroma of ginger and sport drink. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel, Some bread, notes of ginger ale and herbal medicine and energy drink. Mid bitter finish.

Bière 33 cl trouvée en magasin de destockage. Je n'ai pas du tout aimé. Cette bière avait un goût métallique assez prononcé qui a vraiment gâché l'expérience de la dégustation. Les quelques notes fruitées étaient dures à percevoir en raison du goût désagréable de métal. Dans l'ensemble, je ne recommanderais pas cette bière à quiconque.

[ As Superfood 5.G ].
ABV: 5.5%. ✅ Hazy - murky medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, spicy, herbs, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, ginger, spicy, sweet spices, fruity yeast - sweet yeast, herbs, wheat, sweet fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
