Bottle, 35cl. A clear, oily, still cider, deep golden in color. Intense, rich aroma, lots of apple, both fresh and really well matured, with a touch of dried fruit and some alcohol. It's full bodied and warming, smooth and oily, with a good sweetness. Ripe apples, apple juice and dried fruit. Long finish. Not super complex, but very nice. Wouldn't mind repeating this one. 230903

Bottle @ home. Well stored bottle. Clear brown-red body almost without any head, lively carbonation anyway. Aroma has lots of mature cherry with apple cider playing the second round. Some wood and a slightly hint of cellar notes in the nose as well. Taste has an interesting and well-integrated combination of ripe cherry and apple together with oak that almost gives a hint of grapes and actually feels quite vinous. It’s medium sweet and the acidity is moderate with soft carbonation. Fine body with a pleasant aftertaste. Nice and balanced, I think a few years in the cellar has done good things with this cider.

Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sour apples, raspberry winegum, apple peel, alcohol, minerals, black currant winegum, grass, yeast, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

350 ml clear slimline bottle, as Hardanger Issider, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.9%. Clear and deep golden colour, no carbonation. Aroma of concentrated apple juice / cider. Very sweet flavour of concentrated juice of dessert apples, a hint of sulphites. Delicious.
