Newer witbier in this series, commissioned by a Dutch hobby brewer at De Graal, bottle shared by kraddel. Cobweb-lacing, thick but very coarse and therefore quickly collapsing, off-white head over a hazy golden beer with peachy hue. Aroma of banana, pear drop, pineapple slices, dough, some coriander seed but not as expressive as is custom in this style, grass, soap, apple peel, orange zest, bread crumb, something glueish. Sweet fruity esters in the onset, banana, peach, pineapple, yet fairly clean and not over the top, with a vaguely gooseberry-like sourish edge accentuated by fizzy carbonation; smooth, soapy mouthfeel, wheaty but not overly soapy as is often the case in witbier, phenolic accents, coriander seed but again not as soapy as usual, earthy hop bitterish tail with the wheat flavour lingering a bit. Quite decent, less ’coriandered’ than usual, more a malt forward beer in that sense, refreshing. Expected worse.

Thank you kraddel! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Belgian Ticks Tasting Ghent”. Very pale citrus, golden with a big creamy white head. Nose is sweet dough, paper, washing product, cleaning products, soap, chemical,… Far, far too high carbonation,… Washing product, cleaning products, chemical, paper, soap, ridiculous carbonation,…. One would have thought or hoped that NL was beyond releasing fake BE beers like this and this from a new client brewer, there is still a market I suppose.

Clear pale yellowish beer, huge fizzy aery irregular white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: spicy, lots of coriander, bit yeasty, sweet, some citrus, orange peel. MF: way too much carbonation, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sweet start, fruity, lots of banana, coriander, some citrus. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, coriander, bit unpleasant.éèàçû

6 3 7 3 13 Bottle, shared at July THT, in front of Kwartje. Hazy golden color. Rocky off white head. Aroma’s: sweetish, bready malts, yeasty. Sweetish and fruity retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet with light bitterness. Medium bodied. Finish is slightly dry, caramellish, light bitter. Decent.
