[Keg] Dark color; generous and thick head, perfect lace. Some caramel and light roasted malt aroma; spicy. Full mouth, good balance, leaning on the sweet side in the front, turning into a more bitter ending, again spicy and with caramel.

Brilliant dark color. Full bodied, creamy. Smells fruity, bready dough. Yeasty doughy taste. Malts, sweetness, alcohol is present. Palate is full, until only the alcohol remains.

Nose of coriandre, citruspeel, yeast (yeast in suspension), cheesey. Taste: malts, backlying bitterness, not outspoken, neither hoppy. What sweetness there is seems to refer to white crystal sugar(syrup) or caramel. overall rather neutral but well-balanced. Warming alcohol effect despite relative low ABV. Tasted example called Cuvée 2002 in 75cl bottle, rather than usual 33cl. No indication of difference.

Straw-orangey colour. Thick creamy head. Nose of special malts, coriandre and blue cheese. Yeasty. Taste: bitter, spicey (coriandre again). Very obvious underlying sweetness. Rich mouthfeel; alcohol impression, but not much. Tasted example is 75cl Cuvée 2002. no real indication of any difference with the usual 33cl.

Golden color, small creamy head. Small yeast particles floating around. Smells a bit sour, yeasty. Candy sugar is very present in taste and aroma. Thick body for a triple, very sweetsour. It''s a quite distinct taste seen also in the other St Bernardus brews. In the darker brews i really loved it, but in this triple brew i''m not quite amazed. I am missing the spices and/or malts in this triple.

Ruby red-brown color, thick creamy foam. Aroma of malt, chocolat, bit nutty even, ripe fruit. Sweet taste, creamy of chocolat, bit sparkling as well, but still not heavy to drink. Beautiful beer.

A very dark red almost brown beer with a good head. The aroma is of over ripe fruit and malt sweetness. The flavor is very powerful of a great malt blend with strong notes of caramel as well as hints of the alcohol, which also tickles the tongue. It ends with a good bitterness - all in all a really great flavor and therefore a really good beer.
