Bottle coming from the bootlegger, at Paris, a time without covid to be happy, opening this bottle of Belgian dream at home. It is a personal vie but this one is clearly better than the hoegarden version, smooth, malty, aromatic with notes of coriander, 07.11 21

On tap at Hops, Crewe – therefore a 7.5% rather than 8%. Pours a cloudy golden peach with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. There’s a slightly strange aroma of bacon, biscuits, Belgian hops and yeast. In the mouth it has a slightly sweet coating with underlying sharpness. Flavours are Belgian yeast, coriander, spice and hints of banana and vanilla later on. Finish is somewhat dry. This is a decent solid tripel.

33 cl bottle. Hazy golden colour with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, bread, pale malts, grasses, and fruits. The taste is light bitter. Medium body, rather rich for a Helles. Drying finish with lingering pale malts. Interesting mixture of styles and brewing traditions. A very peculiar Helles.

Blonde in colour, some haziness but maybe a bit more clear than usual for a belgian blonde. A quite big, pillowy and quite frothy white head that shows good retention and very nice lacing. Good enough intensity in the aroma, with a malty base of puff pastry and lighter hay, followed by fruity notes (peach, lighter pear and lemonish notes), grassy freshness and perhaps a hint of spiciness (can't detect something specific). Taste notes follow the aroma, a bit of earthiness shows up in finish/aftertaste but the beer feels overall cleaner/more nitid than most belgian blondes. There's a decent amount of sweetness, well balanced by moderate bitterness (with a hint of earthiness to it) and by a hint of refreshing lemonish sourness. Light body, average to high, fizzy carbonation; feels pleasantly lively in the mouth but still very slick and easy. A very good example of the style.

750ml bottle from www.smakpiwa.pl (now is onemorebeer.pl) No coz tu stazone az 5,5 roku w piwnicy. czy inne niz to z malej butelki raczej specjalnie nie, fajne winne, pol wytrawne, sliwkowo figowe. rodzynki karmel ciemne slody i winne wzmacniane klimaty, choc alko nie wyczuwalne, piwo nie ma zbyt glebokiego ciala, takie wyplaszczone. Westvleteren 12 lepsze w gestosci, choc niektore zrodla mowia ze to to samo.

330ml bottle from beer mania in 07.06.2010. I think it's 2009 vintage? who knows (because I lost my memory) - its so long long time ago. Cellared only two years and 5 months. Rewelacyjne piwo. Zapach piszkoptowo-octowy. Spory dymek po zdjęciu kapsla. Piana spora i gęsta niesamowicie. Smak winno-ciastkowo figowy. Suszone owoce pomieszane z karmelowym słodem. Takie miałem odczucia smakowe. Lekko słodkie piwo, mało goryczkowe ale wytrawne i bogate w smaku. Finisz zdecydowanie rozgrzewający, świetnie pasujący na chłodne zimowe wieczory. Gorąco polecam.

750ml bottle. Don't remember Where? because i got a cancer of my brain and I lost my memory. But I think is from beer Planet or Belgiuminabox.com in 2012. Taste and drink in december 2013. Dobre i wysmienite. Czerwona etykieta, Piwo rubinowe, jasniejsze od wersji z niebieska etykieta. A smak lekko slodki na poczatku, potem przechodzacy w wytrawna octowosc, leciutko kwaskowaty posmak pozostawia. Bardzo dlugi finisz. Drozdze dodane do butelki zrobily swoje piwo staje sie metne. Smak to figi i suszona sliwka, ladna bezowa i spora piana, moze nie za trwala ale puszysta, wystrzelil korek z hukiem ze az sie zadymilo, ale mimo to srednio nagazowane. Polecam
